Customs Compliance

Artists should avoid, or strictly limit, traveling with musical instruments, equipment, or other gear, particularly items with a declared value exceeding $500 USD, whether transported as carry-on or checked baggage. 

For any equipment beyond personal instruments or other limited hand-carried gear, we strongly recommend that the Artist obtain an ATA Carnet before travel. 

Artists should coordinate gear shipments directly with Marc Wallace at Rock It Cargo (marc.wallace@rockitcargo.com).

Artists are solely responsible for determining and complying with all applicable customs and import requirements, and associated costs. Cloud 9 is not responsible for any customs duties, taxes, import fees, penalties, delays, seizures, or other actions or charges arising from equipment transported by the Artist.
